TESTIFY TESTCODE CAMP 4.0 : My Experience
If I were told 3 months back that I would be involved in software testing with no prior knowledge, I wouldn't have believed it. Now 3 months after participating in the Testcode boot-camp 4.0 organized by TestifyNG I can say I have a great knowledge and skills on software application testing.
As a Human Resource Administrator, I’ve had the opportunity to work with various technical teams and also conducted UAT application testing which drew me to take an interest and also develop my career toward software testing.
With this program, I am proud to say that I have the knowledge and skills to; Review, identify, analyze software requirements and maintain the quality. Identify the risk, prevent defects and bugs prior to product deployments. Execute test cases and report defects, define severity for each defect. Collaborate and provide support with team members using teams and slack to develop effective strategies and test plans.
Deliver quality software through quality control automated and manual test reports.
Involve in the creation of test collections and test environments.
Facilitate in project quality and delivery to the business.
Prepare Test documentations, test plan, test environment, test summary and bug report.
Participate in making repository of Web UI elements using page object model.
Utilize SQL to execute queries, receive data, update and delete records in a database. Use of tools like, Slack, Microsoft office, Intellij , Postman, Trello.
The last 90 days have been a great experience and I’d like to say a big thank you to TestifyNG organizers and teachers for guiding, motivating and inspiring me to do my best and never give-up when facing errors. I’d like to thank my team “Team Window” members for been supportive and open to different ideas while working on different projects.
